The federal and local regulations in California must prioritize the comfort and safety of the consumer. This is a standard practice across the country at other similar stores like Ralphs too.

They make an exception for a service animals, as they provide invaluable assistance to those with disabilities and are legally permitted in such establishments. If you have a service dog, you can visit Ralphs together.
